ABOUT SOHG

Originally located in the Dallas, Texas area, SOHG began as the primary tool for developing and presenting the Workshop. The Workshop and related materials are the product of Kent Sutherland's half a century of bible study, full time ministry and spiritual and professional development. Since his discharge from the U.S. Navy in 1964, Mr. Sutherland has been involved in ministry as a Youth and Worship Minister, Senior Pulpit Minister, Education Minister, Evangelist, Christian Educator, Church Planter and Elder. He continues in his third career as an author, evangelist and workshop facilitator, working from both Texas and his rural home in Kentucky.

In addition to his career in ministry, Kent served more than fifteen years as the Human Resource Director for two Dallas area companies and as a contract trainer and HR consultant to many other companies across the nation. His seminars on Employee Development, Management Training, Customer Service and Stress and Life Management have been presented at many state association and national conventions.

Married in 1964 to Rose Marie Colon Sutherland, the wife he met while stationed in San Juan, PR, they have three adult children, all faithfully serving the Lord through his church. Despite a busy schedule, they always look forward to visiting their seven grandchildren in Texas, North Carolina and Arkansas.
